20/20 Areas of Strategic Focus
PUBLIC WORKS & UTILITIES: Focusing on water and wastewater production and purification, infrastructure (above and below ground), roads, drainage, solid waste disposal and services, recycling, beautification, by-law enforcement, airport operations, campground operations, and heavy equipment.
RECREATION, CULTURE & HERITAGE: Focusing on parks and playgrounds, recreation centre, recreation programs and services, beaches, cultural events, heritage development, festivals/special events, trail development, and community cultural and recreational partnerships.
F.C.S.S: Focusing on the social needs of the community including crisis counseling and intervention, youth programming, social & health referrals and early childhood education.
ADMINISTRATION: Focusing on human resources, finances, administration, policy, by-laws, Mayor and Council.
DEVELOPMENT: Focusing on Community/Economic Development and Land Development.
TOURISM: Focusing on Tourism development and promotion, tourism marketing, and Tourism Centre operations.
