Hunting
The fall season usually means the start of hunting opportunities for the Grande Cache area and Willmore Wilderness Park. “The Alberta Guide to Hunting Regulations” is available at the Grande Cache Tourism & Interpretive Centre, Chalet Foods Convenience Store and the Home Hardware store in town.
There is also an Alberta Fish & Wildlife office in Grande Cache, where officers can be contacted immediately should there be any dangerous wildlife encounters. (780-827-3626 or 780-827-3356) In the event of a mauling, an immediate reporting procedure to the Fish & Wildlife officers and the RCMP is of the utmost importance.
