The Rec Centre has a closure on November 20th 2010

Rec Centre is closed until noon on Friday, Nov 20.

The following activities are cancelled: • Morning Lane Swim 7-9 am

Parent & Tot Swim 10-11 am • Noon lane Swim 11:45-12:30 pm

Kids Shinny 12:15-1:15 pm • Fitness Centre will open at 12:00 pm

The Rec Centre is OPEN, limited phone service, but OPEN, the pool re-opens in a week.

Recreation Centre Closure

Thank you for your patience during this past week. We understand your frustrations and have been working hard with our contractor to have our facility up and operating in a safe and timely manner.

This morning the Town of Grande Cache has received notification from the Construction Manager that they are planning to have most of Akasaka Recreation Centre open to the public for regular operations the morning of Tuesday, November 3, 2009. This includes the arena, lobby, fitness centre and preschool areas. This does mean that Minor Hockey can have morning practice that day.

The pool should be up and operational by Monday, November 9, 2009.
