1.2 km North of Grande Cache on Highway 40

Hours:

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 1:00pm - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, Sunday, Monday: 9:00 am - 5:00 p.m.
Closed on Holidays

Accepts:

  • Car batteries
  • Wood
  • All Metal
  • Computers, TV & electronics
  • Tires-all sizes
  • Wrecked vehicles
  • Household waste

An attendant is on duty at all times.

Landfill Fee Schedule

As of October 1, 2007, the following fee schedule for the landfill will commence.

Fees will be as follows:

Appliances (stoves, fridges, washers, dryers, freezers, microwaves, etc.)
$20/article

All vehicles
$150 each

Motorcycles, snow machines, quads, etc.
$25 each

Heavy metals must be cut into 4 ft. lengths
1/2 ton: $20
1 ton: $40
3 ton: $75

E-waste, Tires, Batteries
Free

  • Waste requiring a fee may be dropped off on Thurs., Sat. and Sun. during regular landfill hours.
  • Fees will be paid at the town office, and the receipt must be presented to the landfill attendant.

Landfill Manifest

Due to the lack of available capacity at the Grande Cache Landfill, as of April 1, 2007, we will no longer accept any waste from outside the Town limits.
