Youth Wellness
There are a number of programs and activities offered for the youth in Grande Cache. The Town employs a Youth Coordinator whose main focus is to develop programs for youth.
Currently, the Youth Coordinator is teaching Guitar lessons at the Summitview School Mondays and Wednesdays. Classes are full until the end of the school year.
There are many drop-in activities at the Akasaka Recreation Centre available for youth. Check out our Upcoming Events (link to upcoming events) to see what’s new.
Don’t miss out on our Community Movie Nights. We play new movies on our huge, inflatable movie screen. During the summer, movies play outside, and throughout the winter, they will play inside the High School Gym. Check out our Upcoming Events (link to upcoming events) to see what’s playing.
