Newcomers Information Centre
Located at the Department of Wellness Office, Grande Cache Recreation Centre“Caring Communities Start with Caring People”The Community Coordinator promotes information and provides welcome packages to newcomers to the town of Grande Cache.
Program Services for Newcomers:
- Meet and Greet services for newcomers
- Provides a Welcome Package that includes information on community services
- Referral services to newcomer clients
- Community Resource Library
- Volunteer and Special Talents Registry
Possible Special Events such as:
- Ladies Morning Out
- Walking Club
- Newcomers BBQ
- Newcomers Breakfast
Other Services Include:
- Newcomers can receive information regarding services provided by Grande Cache Department of Wellness & Recreation
- Our office provides the Community Assets Registry which includes important government and local phone numbers
- There is a Community Resource Library that offers a variety of information available for public use located at the Department of Wellness & Recreation
