Recreation Centre Closure

Thank you for your patience during this past week. We understand your frustrations and have been working hard with our contractor to have our facility up and operating in a safe and timely manner.
This morning the Town of Grande Cache has received notification from the Construction Manager that they are planning to have most of Akasaka Recreation Centre open to the public for regular operations the morning of Tuesday, November 3, 2009. This includes the arena, lobby, fitness centre and preschool areas. This does mean that Minor Hockey can have morning practice that day. The pool should be up and operational by Monday, November 9, 2009.
